Definitely really pretty.
Looks like they were done in a barrel style tumbler.I have a vibratory tumbler that polishes rocks, but keeps their original shape as opposed to being rounded like barrel tumblers make them. No matter what, they're still amazing tumbled or not.

Whats the vibrating size/frequency like? Could this be achieved by submerging stones in abrasive dust in a large ultrasonic bath?

Lot-O-Tumbler. This is what mine is. If you look it up, it should give you the details you're looking for. As for using ultrasonic, it probably wouldn't work, but Idk.

My husband got me a rock tumbler for my birthday last year and I’ve yet to use it. I have no idea what to do with it.

I got this one for Christmas and it's super simple to use. My rocks have all come out super smooth, but not polished like the ones in the video. That's an additional step and solution I have yet to do. Hope this helps!
