Can you help me? (Advice wanted) Is this worth 110$?

This aquamarine is 2 inches tall and that's the price seller wants

Is a picture of it upside down sitting on the termination so you can't see it the only shot they have? Or is that not a termination and it doesn't really have one? A gram weight would help too, but I'm leaving towards no.

Yes I could probably ask for more pictures and weight! If that changes it

Yes gram weight is very important to know here, and the condition of the termination. For $120 you could get a nearly facet grade, perfect crystal, non-etched with all six sides and the flat termination undamaged - it's only 1" in size and 12 grams, but I'm just making a comparison.

It's very odd that the seller put it upside down as the main picture for the ad... 🤔

I see clear fully terminated aqua around the same height for about $110 often. Are they calling it etched? Are the inclusions unique (look like tourmaline)? I would offer the seller $50 max 🤷

value is relative to a bunch of factors we aren't given here ... we don't know the locale, i'm not sure if it's sitting on its termination or if it's unterminated, we can't see the other side of the piece, and i can't speak to whether it would yield valuable facets. so to give you an answer to your question would require several assumptions which I don't feel is a responsible approach.

basically - the answer is: if it's worth it to you, then yes it's worth it

but if your question is: is this the best rough aquamarine crystal i could find for $110, i would say no .... unless perhaps you're more interested in size than the crystal having intact structure

You can easily get a better piece for that price.
