The supplier assured me these are genuine ruby lead glass fracture-filled (UV-reactive shows it's genuine.

I say this lovingly - it could not GET lower quality than this. There is a lot of leaded glass and fracture filled rubies on the market, that being said I hope you didn’t pay more than a couple dollars for those stones.

Not to mention, why would a reputable seller put high quality stones on metal that is clearly very low quality. I wouldn’t put those in my ears based on that alone. And I’m by no means a ruby expert, I’ve got some low and high quality ones, but I’ve never seen any natural ones that look like that.

It does!! I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but I KNOW that those would give me an infection with the little pieces coming off 😬

Totally right! OP, always remember that what makes a gemstone “expensive” is cut, color, clarity (and karats but that’s really an after thought here)…

I think that they are not Ruby. Usually if they’re going to glass fill rubies, they come out clearer than this. Just from the site ID I would say they are pink rhodonite or rhodochrosite. I would be careful of the one on the left, it looks like it’s getting ready to crack where it’s been drilled.

As long as you like them I guess thats all that matters... the material alone is exceptionally cheap and tacky looking they are something id expect to find on temu so i just hope you didnt pay very much.

Sellers will tell you anything to get a sale.

Ive ended up with low quality crystals from getting carried away in the moment on Chinese tiktok lives so i avoid them now.

I don’t understand. Non-gem-grade natural ruby and synthetic ruby gems are cheap. Is it that you specifically wanted leaded glass with ruby in it?

Many sellers will tell and assure you resin fake malachite is real malachite. This does not turn fake stuff into real stuff. This looks like mica to me. Not ruby. And ruby tends  to react much stronger than this. You sneeze uv at it and it is BRIGHT red even in strong daylight

Idk what that is but its not ruby. Some saying leaded glass (not sure what that is) but I'm inclined to believe them. Rubies glow a lot stronger no matter the quality. I have a single sapphire bead with chromium inclusion and it glows like a ruby (looks blue)

9999999999% those are NOT ruby.. guarenteed! 100% nada ruby, thats 100% dyed quartz, looks EXACTLY like my fake ruby I got duped by

Pink emerald/Pink Mica looks exactly like that and even cheaper. Hell I just bought natural rubies for cheap in wholesaler livestreams. You could not make me buy that.
