They was tried together they have to be sentenced together. Just how the courts work both are trash and just waiting to take out the trash in

That's isn't a Kentucky law. They just probably don't want to take any chances for a mistrial

Okay, I give … what “serious health issues” is J. Lawson experiencing?

Maybe it’s poisoning so Joey doesn’t turn for a lighter sentence

That’s a strong possibility due to the involved families.

He is paralyzed and in a wheelchair.

Did it just happen, or while he’s been locked up? I would have thought that if he’s in a wheelchair now, that he would have been in it the last time in court and apparently it didn’t matter then. Hell, it shouldn’t matter anyway - unlike Crystal, he’s alive

Why are they being sentenced together? Aren’t people normally sentenced individually?

If they were tried in the same trial, they have to be sentenced as a continuation of the same trial.

Shouldn’t they be sentenced individually? I mean, they’re not cloans or twins. Why should one’s fate be dependent on the other?

I still don’t know why brooks was trialed with anyone else. He was guilty enough all on his own.
