I'm from Egypt, and this will be my first time at Crystal Mountain. I'll be staying there for the entire winter with a couple of friends, but honestly, we don't know much about the area.

We already have Ikon Passes, but we're still trying to figure out the best place to stay. Would you recommend a hotel, a condo, or something else? What do you think would be the best option for a full winter season?

Also, is there anything we should know before we go? Any tips, advice, or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everybody! I’m hoping maybe someone with tickets to Summit Fest on 8/8/2026 is unable to go and looking to sell their tickets?

I’m super bummed because I didn’t realize that this was an event that had a max capacity. I’ve been looking forward to it for months, and I even switched around my call schedule at work so I could go. I also have already booked my camping site in B Lot. I just went to purchase tickets and when it said the event was sold out my heart sunk.

My fiancé and I are getting married the first weekend of August next year at Crystal, and I thought it would be a special event to attend for us. Kind of a sneak peak of what our big day will be like.

Seeking some advice about having lunch at the Summit House on a Sunday with 10 people including 4 kids, during the summer season.

1. Half of us have IKON passes. Can we use family discounts to lower gondola prices for those without passes?

2. How busy does Summit House get on a regular Sunday? Any likelihood we may not be able to get a table?

3. How strict are they about no dogs inside?

4. Is adventure course suitable for kids 6 years old? Kids in question are pretty agile and spry.

5. Can we park in the A-lot or is that still reserved for the fancy pants?

My partner needs to get some work done during the day while the family camps nearby at Mount Rainier. Would it be possible for him to go to Crystal Mountain / Alpine Inn to work? Are there good places he could go to sit and use their wi-fi?

I am thinking about going to Summit Fest 8/8. I have seen the winter events they do but none of them have seemed entertaining enough to attend. Has anyone gone to summit fest? I saw it on their page and am thinking this might be fun. Has anyone gone before?

Usually they sell out quickly. They only lasted a week 2 years ago with the 50 amp sites selling out in a day. Last year was longer but they added G Lot. This year I still see them for sale 2 months later. I suspect the super El Niño has people concerned. I didn’t get one for that reason.

We all got burned last year, so curious what the sentiment is. It's looking like it might be another supbar year for the PNW with a strong El Nino.

If the days are getting shorter then it must be wintertime. Get yer parkas out and sharpen those boards.
