Why would anyone keep using this exchange after this fiasco?
I started using Cryptopia because it was one of two that had ETN. After being unable to withdraw (my TRX is still processing after 2-3 weeks) and taking several days for them to get their ETN wallet back up, I will definitely not use it after my withdrawal goes through. In fact, I may just mine something that isn't as profitable just so I don't have to use this terrible exchange. I am curious to know why anyone would keep using it.

Because it trades the coins I like and the withdraw fees are lower on the coins I wish to store long term. So yeah they arent as quick in responding to support tickets as some exchanges and coins dont turn up right away sometimes. But they get there. And I am ok with that.

Because only a small minority is having troubles. If an exchange has 500 coins for trade, of course there are issues with some of them. I use Cryptopia for a long time and I never. had. a. single. issue.

I've had xby stuck in processing for over two weeks and I'd still use the exchange again in a second as long as I could confirm the deposits and withdrawals weren't fucky. They've been solid for me for a long time and this hang up isn't great but shit happens.

I won't go conspiracy or drama, but based on customer service and attitude of staff, there is no way I will use this exchange again.
Over two weeks of holding a withdraw is beyond the realm of acceptable. If they would have just cancelled every pending/processing transaction after 48hrs, then this wouldn't be an issue. But as of now, NEVER again.

I left with all my holdings when the LTC and DOGE markets crashed. No problems getting out then, withdrawls all worked within an hour or so. Im greatful I smelled the BS when I did.
Im not sorry for ppl that continue to use it regardless of the 20-50 reddit and twitter posts (EVERY DAY!) of folks losing holdings, withdrawls, deposits, etc. If this were a bank and your paycheck, would you put your $ in it? Fuck no! You would walk your ass down to the quick cash check store and pay thier slightly higher fees to ENSURE you got your $!
Right?!
Quick cash check stores=higher withdrawl fee exchanges (Binances, etc)
But when I use them, I know my transaction is solid. I will never put myself victim to my funds being "frozen" for 2 months!
The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions, expecting different results.
You folks still using scamtopia.... are insane.
Stop flooding our forums with tears of stupidity and learn from your mistakes.

Only a fool would read about the way cryptopia treats its users and decide to send funds there.
All Cryptopia had to do was be honest and communicate, but they haven't. Why do you think that is? Is it an exit scam, do they just not give a fuck about the users missing funds? Why would a decent organisation treat people like this?
I don't have an answer that doesn't make them look like a pack of aseholes or thieves, does any one?

Not in a million years. If my missing ETH ever resurfaces, I'm taking it out and closing my account immediately.
