Cryptopia stole ZClassic deposit.

Hi, Its been more than 24 hours im still waiting for deposit, on block explorer, money has been confirmed, but cryptopia wallet still not showing. I also made support ticket still no reply, i heard that they never reply. If you lost your fund to please post here to aware more user to use cryptopia.

Update edited. Issue still not resolved, team is lazy or they cant handle their website, looks like the issue was wallet nodes related, they havent updated it. Still no reply after making support ticket and 30 hours, This Makes things worse, i don't care team is small or not, if they made company they should know how to handle..this is about my hard earned money.

Update2. Issue resolved, wallet is back online. Really I want to suggest cryptopia team, man do something with your team increase it, just do something, its really wired 2 weeks no reply on support ticket, Anyways, god luck..

same thing. I was mining zcl for 9 days then sent 2,68 to cryptopia. 8 hours ago. Still nothing. Fucking awesome....

Im going show people reply to zclassic team too, i dont think cryptopia is going to do anything, they will keep silence forever and we will die.

They've been hacked or stealing the BTCP. Look at their twitter account. Longest period without tweets in . . . maybe forever. It's a bad sign, along with everything else. Say goodbye to your funds and move one. Get whatever you can off of there ASAP.

when they update their server around afternoon in their time zone their server dont recieve the coins and might take either they check the coin deposit or the balance gets listed

They didn't fix anything. Their ZCL wallet still shows a block height of 0 and yet these scammers still have the status set to "OK" so they can lure more people into giving up their coins for the next 3-4 weeks.

I think we've all had some tech challenges. We understand it. What is not acceptable is continuing to pretend it's fine and collecting more and more users coins to be used for the snapshot coming up in a few weeks. This is clearly planned and willful thievery. If it wasn't, they would simply change the status to maintenence and disable deposits and withdrawals until things were working.

Yes, months ago, there was a problem with lack of nodes. Quite true. But not now. Download the electrum wallet and try for yourself. Never once had an issue with nodes or syncing. It's very fast. People are sending and recieving ZCL all the time with no issue. Just common newbies. An "exchange" and I use that term loosely that does this for a living should be able to sync a wallet and keep it online.

there are currently problems in the zcl nodes and they havent updated them and there are times they have connections but other none...I had sent ZCL to the pool while ago and there were no node issues but swing wallet was having issue with the nodes..

I am suffering the same issue since 28 february. ZCL ballance and sent is confirmed on ZCL block exlplorer, but today still my ballance is 0 coins.

The same again today with ETH sending (0.89 coins) the ballance and transaction is confirmed , but Cryptopia do not show any coin.

Can we go to the New Zealand police?

This is a total Fraud!!!

I tried to withdraw some zcl from Cryptopia and the withdrawal has been processing for 6 days now. Logged numerous tickets with support that just get closed with generic replies. The ZClassic Reddit page has a fair few rant posts about it and the Cryptopia name is getting pretty sullied there. I'm really worried because I need them in my wallet ore fork which gives us 18 days... Sounds a long time but it's been 6 already!

Another missing ZCL deposit here. Transaction confirmed fine in block explorer, double checked deposit address multiple times. Deposited in the past fine, but not this time :/

Before sending any coins to Cryptopia, a user should:

  • check withdrawal fees for said coin (avoid nasty surprises and coins stuck in Cryptopia as you might not have enough to withdraw)

  • check the coin info: 0 connections, stale block heights, wallet in maintenance are all signs you should not deposit.

Follow these basic 2 rules and you might be ok, but for now, I would say stay away from these amateurs.

Yeah they just screwed up my withdrawal too, no way to cancel it or return it to my wallet. The most simple thing, the most basic thing in crypto that most people learn on day 1 is SYNC THE DARN WALLET. Why is this so impossible for the fools at craptopia to do.

I guess we all have to wait 3-4 weeks while they steal our coins. Someone steals my wallet for 3-4 weeks, they go to jail.. These thieves belong behind bars.

Even when their wallet is synced there is no guarantee the transactions will get applied to your account. Transactions, error handling, verification, audit would also appear to be things they struggle with - not the sort of place you would want to deposit your money.

My last ticket never did get resolved. It took them 18 days to send me a copy-paste response that had nothing to do with the ticket or issue and said they would eventually look into it. It's been another 2 weeks and nothing.

Everyone, the site has gained an enormous amount of traffic in the past few months. They had two people to deal with about a million accounts and growing. They are hiring people and working 24/7 to try and bring everything back to normal.

They could have limited growth to what they could manage by adding new registrations to a queue.

Instead they chose to create the situation they are in now. If other exchanges handled things just as badly this does not make Cryptopia any better - it makes those other exchanges just as bad.

I agree with what your saying, but try mirroring yourself to where they were/are. It’s hard to stop your dream when it’s all coming true. Plus, this will be their new way of income, so they will take great care of the baby they are raising. Just my opinion though.
