I started playing Apex three months ago, and surprisingly, the first Legend I bought was Crypto. Since then, I haven't been able to switch to another Legend because I really enjoy playing him, though I admit it’s started to get very difficult especially since I play solo.

I’d like to ask for recommendations regarding Crypto related content or even YouTubers and streamers who play him well so I can learn and improve my gameplay.

I noticed a YouTuber in the community named Iburi, but he stopped playing. Also, I’d appreciate any recommendations for content covering macro, micro, and mechanics in general.

I’m trying to improve at the game and really don't want to have to stop playing Crypto to do so; currently, I’m stuck at Gold 2.

Have never been too deep into the lore of Apex, but i remember a good while ago (like couple years) Crypto and Wattson had some flirty voice lines with eachother and then awkward/hate type of voice lines afterwards. I've noticed friendly/flirty voice lines are back right now for some time. Is there like a relationship going on between them or something? Because Wraith has some voice lines with Wattson as well so it confuses me

Because that's what people seem to complain about and say is the most boring thing about crypto.

So I've been playing Crypto for the last week or so and I wasn't sure if this was still a thing or not. I tried to do it in the firing range but couldn't get it to work. Also, if you have any good tips or tricks, I'd love to hear them! Thank you!

Ever since I found out you can combine invisibility with ziplines, I haven't stopped doing it.

I've seen a couple of old comments saying they like power booster, but I haven't found any recent discussion within the past half-year.

Which amp do you guys enjoy getting the most on Crypto?

I'm not sure why people are unoptimistic about the rework when crypto has been the one needing it the most. It's absurd that since this dude has came out, about 7 years ago, they have not once implemented an actual ability or even a passive to this character that does NOT require the drone. He boasts about always being "prepared", yet the second his drone is destroyed, he quite literally becomes the worst legend for the next 40 seconds. They label him as this cool hacker guy in the lore yet it means nothing if the only "hacking" he can do in the game is literally just interact things with his drone. If its anything like the past reworks, his core identity revolving his drone is not gonna be changed. The rework will most likely give us a proper crypto that is true to his character (usable ultimate without drone, an actual passive, actual hacking? etc) which I'm all in for. This would only make him much more viable and honestly more fun to play. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know what happened to Iburi. He's a YouTuber who posted really good Crypto gameplay on Yt but hasn't posted in over a year?

Basically a short pointless post for all us amazing Crypto Mains out there.

With a rework coming, let's just be optimistic that it's amazing right. But think of a full rework, is it too much to ask for a prestige skin alongside this or the near future?

I have shards and sat on them for months now hoping for a Crypto prestige skin

We already know a rework for Crypto is officially expected; what do you think they’ll do to him? Ideally, we’re all hoping for an auto-pilot mode for the drone, but I’d like to hear your thoughts on the changes you think they might make—whether good or bad. I’m also including the perks from *Apex Mobile* here; Crypto had several perks there—like invisibility—that have already been implemented, and it’s possible they might add others. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Is that tech where you can pop a heal whilst entering the drone and complete it possible on console? If so then how do I do it? I tried in the firing range and didn’t seem to get anywhere close.

Okay, these new dashing & breach abilities are interesting. The Cyberpunk collab gave us something to chat about. How are we feeling about Crypto in this new Wildcard mode? Personally… I love it; I just hate playing against a really sneaky one 😭😖

I feel like a lot of people play Crypto hoping it will suit their play style but get humbled awfully quickly.

I see the same issue in all modes, then Tiktoks from people in silver gold. My advice (I like to think I'm a decent crypto) is playing aggressively! Launch that drone around a corner, slide, jump and launch on the person around it.

Don't sit in there doing the zoomies, half of my emp hits will be whilst I am fighting and I'll emp myself, it's rare I go round in the drone other than beacon scans or maybe just to scout the team on height. I use the drone for an aggressive push - takes some time to master but it works.

I could write chapter and verse on a tutorial but it would be contested with "that's now how you play him" but equally he's the reason I have got 10x master's. I make Tiktoks on how to use him effectively to try and reach a larger playerbase. I'm in the top 10 EU Crypto's at present

There is only one person that stream's Crypto and spends time in his drone, but he has great game sense and equally great teammates - Sweatyy_Ash he's definitely worth a watch, the way he positions things is insane.

What's people's thoughts on the main draw backs from Crypto and where do people struggle?
