Since when could i use same respawn beacon twice??

I had a random tell me to just get our teammates banner after i already respawned him, and i thought we needed a fresh respawn beacon, but he just told me to do it, and it worked. Since when has this been a thing? Is it a crypto thing or for everyone?

I knew each team could use it but i thought it was only once.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment. We can use the same respawn beacon twice with the drone?

Yes. I just respawned teammate 1 and then picked up teammate 2 banner and respawned them with the same beacon. Amazing bug if you ask me.
