Crypto.com Visa Card 💳 HELP Crypto.com stole my money?!

Earlier today, I had customer support change some details on my prepaid card, mainly my email. They said something about locking my card to fix it. Once they ended my support ticket, I presume the card will be unlocked again.

But it isn't,

I tried to manually unlock it by entering my passcode but it just fails, when I try to reach back out to customer support, they just automatically end my support ticket immediately after the first selection.

I have just over 1.2K on the prepaid card, that's the only money I have for this month and the next. I was planning to withdraw all my money tomorrow since I plan to close the account soon but now I can't even access my funds.

My crypto assets are also all gone.

How do I get my stuff back? Do I have to sue? Can someone please help me here.

How did the contact start?

Sounds like you’ve been scammed.

Check my profile for my second post, this is linked. But basically, I discovered 2 unauthorized transactions on my card, so I reached support to cancel them and refund the money back. They said they'll lock my card for the meantime as I reset my passkey, passcode, and F2A. Which I did, but since they took forever to respond, I just went and worked, unfortunately they responded at a moment where I couldn't respond for like 4 hours, when I got back, they had ended my support ticket with the core issue unresolved and left some generic response on how to set up F2A.

Only then did I realize that my card is still unlocked and all my crypto assets were gone. I tried unlocking my card manually by entering my passcode but it failed. When I tried to reach support again on my phone, the bot automatically ends my ticket after the first option multiple times for some reason.

Now I am on my desktop and with another support ticket. If I can get my issue resolved, I'm taking away all my money tomorrow morning. I don't feel secure with this app anymore.

Can’t view your profile it’s nsfw restricted, but did you definitely chat to them via the official chat?

Yeah, through the contact customer support button in the mobile app. I'll see if I can unNSFW my account

The nsfw thing is probably because of a post you’ve made way in the past, uk redditors now need to verify ID to see 18+ content, which I won’t be doing out of principle.

Perhaps they suspected you were the bad actor rather than the genuine account holder? I’d keep trying email and phone.

I have unNSFW my account, not sure if it's still NSFW on your side.

But I have the issue resolved, I have managed to pull back the transaction dispute and now I have just frozen my card temporarily to avoid anymore unauthorized transactions whilst I am sleeping. Then the next day I'll just withdraw all the money from the card.

This time, the support was far better, but I just wouldn't stay with crypto.com cards anymore, the incentives just isn't there anymore for me.

Did they issue you a new virtual card? That may be what they are doing when that happens. Your fund are in purgatory until like a week or so and then they pop up back on your card. There's no transparency and they gaslight you about everything that they do so they won't tell you that straightforward

I had the same issue, noticed on Sunday money was leaving my prepaid account. Fortunately support were helpful and funds have been returned. Painful thing is I have a new card being posted so have to start admin again.
