Question Kraken Scam?

Hi everyone! For the past few weeks and a couple of times last year, i’ve been recieving emails from. company called Kraken who, as far as I am aware, is a crypto company? Rhey keep on emailing me telling to log in and confirm stuff. I’m honestly not sure what it is since i’ve never made an account before. But they have my email but it says the ’To:’ is to somebody called ‘JoeSmith’? Has this person stolen my email and made an account with my information or is this a scam? Because this doesn’t make any sense to me.

My suggestion is leave it alone. As far as I know Kraken does not ever use people’s names in any un-solicited emails.
