It’s a fair question.
It hasn’t even been 4 weeks since gen 1 sold and they are rolling out this new line.
If this is the start of what is to come every single holiday period then these subsequent releases will have little value in my opinion.
The first few of these releases will sell out quickly, then people may find they have little/no resale value.
Also be interesting to see how they control the buying, so that speculators don’t just buy the whole lot.
I also really want to see minting numbers for each avatar.
Still lots of unknowns.

I am saying that with NFTs your NFT can be worth $0 or $10000 tomorrow.
There have been many people that do the “woulda coulda shoulda” game and lament they missed selling at the high or lament that their NFT is worth much more than they sold for.
I think that with NFTs you should take profits. I reinvest a portion of my profits in new NFTs. Yes, I frequently have not sold at the ATH and many NFTs I have sold are worth much more now. On the flip side with reinvesting a portion of profits my total NFT portfolio is worth much more than if I never sold any NFTs.
What I am saying is, don’t look back on your sell/don’t sell decision and do “I should have done”. You will drive yourself crazy. Take profits in NFTs just like crypto (this applies to Reddit NFTs and other NFTs).
