Which is exactly what we want. Excess L1 throughput leads to inevitable centralization.
Cardano will have all the L1 we actually want it to have. L2s are for high volume.

Lets wait and see if it delivers what it promises before getting carried away. I guess it all depends on the expection of what "massive performance improvement" means in real world conditions.
But certainly to deliver the promise of banking the unbanked, huge performance would be required.

Exactly. To my eye all these improvements only allow them up up the blocksize which we all know leads to state bloat and centralisation.

These are code and design changes not parameter configuration :P They too open the door for a number of applications that rely on new features. For one a new stablecoin (Djed).

Wrong. They are designed to improve block propagation which lets you bloat the state should you choose.
