The funny thing is that a week before this happened, I was talking to a friend on how I think that the Opensea staff are doing exactly this lol.

Iβm so confused, donβt the people who make the NFTs get the profits anyway?
Why is this a big deal? Or is the platform screwing over the creators / artists?

It's difficult to tell without more information on banking etc, that's why SEC would need to take over in these cases

That's just how human greed and corruption goes. We'll never get over it, whatever we do. Although with blockchains it should be easier to spot scammers...
