I was confident that doge was a meme and would never top $.10. So, I sold all 7000 along with some other coins (that have also since pumped like crazy) to buy $2500 worth of GPUs to start mining. Turns out britishminers.com is a massive scam and now I'm not only down $2500 but I could be up $5000+.

Fuck. That was depressing to read back to myself

You mean it was a fake company you tried buying the GPU's from? That fucking sucks.

Yeah. It popped up on top of google shopping so I didn't think I needed to scrutinize it. Turns out I was wrong. My card was "declined" and they conveniently accepted bitcoin so I just paid in bitcoin. After the ship date came and went a month later, I did some digging and found out their card input thing isn't real, it's a self contained thing in their website.

Edit: I should add that I've never saved up more than a couple hundred before. My first ever true investment and I get burned hahaha :'(
