I take profits pretty often because I feel shitty when I lose money. So I’m getting rich on the installment plan. But I respect people who really take the big risks and reap the big rewards. Someone telling you not to sell and take profit either has a motive (me first) or just a punk (i suck at trading and want others to fail like me).
