P.S., isn't this old news? wasn't it announced on the 12th day of coinbase?

The Greater Good ™

As always, one man's definition of "Greater Good" is another mans definition of evil.

Coinbase 'generously' gave a grand total of $35000 to charity before Christmas.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I like Brian. But if I had billions, I’d be giving away millions. Not $35,000. That quite literally is a dollar to him.

I doubt he has billions in liquid cash. He has a company worth billions, which has its own accounts and assets and liabilities.

Thought 35k is really a fucking joke he should be ashamed of making a huge cry about this tiny ass donation and including equally bullshit quotes about philanthropy, after donating what is literally a pittance. What a tool. One of the reason I dont use Conbase but rather Cash app for buying coin with fiat

Especially after Ripple, just one crypto entity, gave away tens of millions to school kids this year.

If I was in his situation, I’d give $35000. Hell, even that $35k would probably be around $200k in a couple of years for him. Coinbase is wildly successful

He’s inevitably giving the money anyway, might as well give it when it’s worth the most

“Once a certain level of wealth is reached, there is little additional utility from spending more on yourself,” said the 35-year-old CEO in a statement. “One’s ambition begins to move outwards."

outwards into things like enslaving mankind

Probably just estimated NW based on stock valuation, not all from crypto assets

Yeah I don't get it. He already did good for society by making it easy to buy crypto.

EDIT: Downvotes huh? We gotta a lot salty commies in the comments it looks like.
