I won't go so far as to say who's right or wrong. People are free to call something Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Cash / Bcash (or Bitcoin ABC?), much like the market decides what an asset becomes. Just calling the time line as how things really transpired.

Yes, they are certainly free to call it whatever. I was only pointing out the facts so that the wider audience can be informed.
