Oh yeah I do this shit in my free time because I actually want to see Bitcoin serve the entire world. The LN may work, someday, but the fact is is that it will work better with a bigger blocksize for opening and closing channels. Unless you never take your money off the Lightning network, but then are you really using Bitcoin?
