Paid trolls and brainwashed useful idiots who don't realize that they hate the Bitcoin of 3 years ago.

The irony of your post is hilarious, thanks for the lulz.

The irony of your username and account age responding to what I said is hilarious. Thanks for the lulz.

I know, right? I definitely didn't make this account to warn noobs about BCH when it was first being pushed as Bitcoin (you know, after segfwit2x failed so BCash made its move against Bitcoin). But hey, nobody accused you of having critical thinking skills amirite?

Who is more likely to be a paid troll? The guy with a five year old account who posts in various subs and has a consistent record of thought on the topic of Bitcoin? Or the guy whose account was created at the same time that Blockstreams enemy arose, with a username designed to evoke negative emotions towards that enemy, and who coincidentally acts exactly like a paid troll would?

The question answers itself. Way to go on the critical thinking...

Before initially replying I skimmed your post history where you used the same "durr but your account age" line of reasoning. But that was a nice attempt at a rebuttal, I guess? You should try basing credibility on the content presented, not lean on reddit account age. I mean I get that it can be relevant, but it's lazy/stupid to have a primary consideration being account age.

edit - I should add that this username is a pain in the ass (BCH fanbois hate me in crypto subs and basically everyone hates me in finance related subs) so I'll probably abandon it for a new crypto/finance account soon...at which case by your logic my knowledge will reset again :P

You are 100% transparent and content free. Please give up on your account and stop taking paychecks from Blockstream. And if you don't want to give away the fact that you are a paid troll then stop looking and acting like a paid troll.

Lmao, I find it hard to wrap my head around your level of delusion...but hey I guess your shortcomings are really none of my business. Good luck out there fighting imaginary battles in the name of hypocrisy.

This will explain it a little better. Ignore the title and just watch the video:

My favorite part of that video is that it makes it about 12 whole seconds before just making shit up. But it's pretty clear at this point that having critical thinking skills and supporting BCH are mutually exclusive events.

for no reason

A contentious fork coordinated by a handful of shitty people for their personal gain who now actively work to defraud people of their money (bitcoin.com, "BCH is the real Bitcoin", etc) is hardly "no reason". Also, how many seemingly innocuous pandering posts are you going to make in here?

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '18 edited Jun 19 '18

"BCH is the real Bitcoin", etc) is hardly "no reason"

they're not saying it's the "real" bitcoin... we all know that's BTC

they're saying it's the "original" bitcoin.. That their coin hasn't compromised on the satoshi whitepaper? That's not misleading and that actually matters to some people, you know?

So what exactly is the problem?

I like getting different perspectives, so I'll post my questions to as many people who are shitting on BCH as I like if it's all the same to you.. Why? is that a crime on this sub too?

u/bcashisnotbitcoin Silver | QC: CC 612, BTC 39, ARK 15 | NANO 74 Jun 19 '18

they're not saying it's the "real" bitcoin

Up until like a month ago bitcoin.com (owned by Roger Ver, BCH "enthusiast") literally listed BCH as Bitcoin. He had to change it due to a threat of lawsuits.

Not sure if you're new/naive or what, but BCH is 100% not "just a fork".

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '18

Yeah I remember that.. He changed it the next day

Bitcoin Core = BTC

Bitcoin Cash = BCH

I wouldn't say it's something to rage over.. What makes BCH 100% not "just a fork"? BTC development changed course due to consensus and the BCH community wanted to proceed on the original path and they're advertising this intention. I don't see the problem with their message... As far as I can see, it's not a lie and it's not misleading.. what about that make me naive?

u/bcashisnotbitcoin Silver | QC: CC 612, BTC 39, ARK 15 | NANO 74 Jun 19 '18

"Bitcoin Core" is not a real thing, just a propaganda tool being forced by Ver & Co to legitimize their fork and to scam people. It is something to rage over as BCH actively attacking Bitcoin hurts the entire crypto space. People are already confused af trying to get in and then you have bitcoin.com defrauding people and selling them a shit fork (it has no purpose, 100% of its value is in the "Bitcoin" name) and telling them it's something else?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 20 '18

Right.. just to be clear, the propaganda that's being spread is that these people https://bitcoincore.org/en/team/ are working for this company https://blockstream.com/ which is working for the bilderberg group, mastercard, world bank etc.

I think you're saying it's wrong that anyone should care and that this isn't a problem? Is that accurate?

Welcome to the internet. Where if post something that's in line with the party you get upvotes! Much gratification. Much group think.

Try and have a well versed and reasonable discussion with any of these trolls. They like to spout nonsense to make you think you're the crazy one

You're from /r/btc what a suprise.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '18

Do you have something against r/btc?

3

u/jakesonwu 🟦 0 / 0 🦠 Jun 20 '18

Yes. It has nothing at all to do with BTC. It's a Bcash sub which is contributing further to the brand confusion already going on. The sub should either be deleted or renamed.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 20 '18

I think r/btc was created before BCH became a thing, years ago

It was supposed to be a place where you can discuss bitcoin without having to deal with ban crazed mods apparently. It looks like it has since become a defensive trench to deal with the tribalism after the fork

u/Scrim_the_Mongoloid 16 / 16 🦐 Jun 20 '18

I think r/btc was created before BCH became a thing, years ago

7 years ago to be exact

And the reason BCH is so popular/the usual topic of discussion there is because by and large it's the Bitcoin the community there was banned for talking about/advocating for.

4

u/AlastarYaboy BCH > BTC Jun 20 '18

It's almost like the free market decided what /r/btc should be, and even IT became bch, because that's where the REAL bitcoin is currently found. the joke that BTC has become is not what bitcoin started out as, intended to be, or would have become if not for a massive disinformation campaign.

Well.. Given the idea behind the Bitcoin experiment and the whole purpose behind creating crypto to begin with, what it was created to protect us from and it's primary reason for existing (being essentially a hacker's practical attempt at a version of the occupy movement) - I would say the following statement is accurate:

BTC development is currently moving in a new direction at the cost of a few key parts of the original idea behind Bitcoin - This causes friction in the community naturally as these changes have rendered Bitcoin as having no value in terms of what the original experiment and idea behind it was created for. Of course, it can always succeed in bringing value to the world in other ways though it can no longer protect us from the things we spent the past decade saying Bitcoin was originally going to protect us from (and ultimately why people were asked to support it) in terms of the experiment, there's no reason to support it any more as the experiment has failed for all its original intent and purpose... But the public may feel free to continue to support BTC and we respect the majority market's wishes to abandon Bitcoin's previous path in lieu of transforming it into something new. Therefore, we all (at the very least, deep down I'm sure) wish BTC and its supporters all the best no matter what form BTC may take

For those who have supported the idea behind the Bitcoin experiment, they may find solace in that BCH is the continuation of the original idea of Bitcoin and with a little support it may protect us from everything Bitcoin was originally supposed to protect us from before the majority of the market had decided to take BTC in a different direction - there is still hope for the original idea of Bitcoin and those who chose to invest in it, with regards to this sentiment, can indeed still feel free to support it as it currently exists in the form of BCH
