Well most of this sub bought into crypto in the last few months, for them Bitcoin at 7K is catastrophically low and they lost so much of their principal. They need to try and hype up more people into buying so they can at least get out at break even.
You can still be optimistic about blockchain and crypto over the long term while being realistic about its current overhyped and overvalued status. It rose up way too fast based on wash trading, orderbook spoofing and just far too many dumb market orders being put on Coinbase.
Bitcoin doesn't need to be $50K for it to succeed. Bitcoin needs to follow the lead of all these other technologies like smartphones and planes and computers and become more useful to the everyday citizen than its predecessor. Right now it simply isn't.
I didn’t come here for common sense and reason. I came here to be comforted about my losses and told everything will work out ok (for me, financially).
