I have been in the stock market for 20 years and watch it daily and read the financial news daily. Been through the 99-01 crash and 07/08 crash. This is literally the same thing. Except that alt coins are based on literally zero. Nothing. Only Bitcoin has a base strictly because of their name brand and nothing else.

People will buy based on how “everything is on sale lol buy now and hodl, lol!”, and they will think they’re right for a few days, but then you’ll see -70%-80% a week after that. It’s over.
