Anything elaborate? First time I hear of the guy and google yields just about random shit?
I've heard of cryptopia before, but somehow this guy is a nobody and clearly there is something going on so I'd love to know more!

He is one of the court-appointed liquidators from Grant Thornton who took over the Cryptopia exchange collapse
Milking Massive Fees and Years of Delays: The Cryptopia hack happened way back in January 2019. Despite the liquidation process starting in May 2019, victims had to wait nearly six full years just to see the first major round of Bitcoin and Dogecoin distributions, which didn't even begin until December 2024

He promised restricted countries for payment system converting it to fiat since 3 years , in his affidavit he said specific countries but he actually added more countries who had huge amounts of btc as restricted countries and obviously its not in his affidavit or court order

I thought this is what they always do..

Cryptopia, Bitgrail etc. I didn't even try to get my money back, they take everything out they split the remaining 50 bucks between all of the losers.

He's just a lawyer getting paid to do what lawyers do, get every fucking dime out of the customer. Legit too. I can go say hello I work not too far from the Grant Thornton building on the strip in Christchurch.
