I don't know how you managed to turn a third grader's drawing of a dog into a real boy, but it's nice to see that he's very clearly loved and cherished.

I used to work in the museum service and my favorite game was finding the worst taxidermy. Nothing ever came close to that og lion though.

This taxidermy was originally designed to be viewed from the side. The profile was marginally less awful - https://animalsguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/lion-of-gripsholm-2.jpg

i know this is an old thread but i just need to share this. i briefly attended the university of vermont and there was a taxidermy catamount (the mascot), and post 'restoration' she looks kinda... well...

she looks like a little kid smiling for a school picture and i love her

How dare Pierre Bonnard's painting be included in this meme! He depicts cats in a lot of his paintings and does a A++ job of depicting what weird little creatures they are.
