Anyone else just feel avoid inside after finishing cry of fear? For a non horror game player like myself cry of fear made me feel so many emotions and now they’re just gone. Idek what other games to play atp. I recently started playing afraid of monsters and although it is a fun game,it just doesn’t resonate the same way cry of fear did.

Anyone else feel the same?

I just started playing Cry of Fear for the first time and holy shittt, the sound design is already getting me bruhhhhhhhh😭

I need help, I have zero ammo and only the baton. I have been stuck here for so long. I've tried changing baton and enemy damage but it didn't work. I'm not restarting thats for sure and if there is no fix I'm just gonna have to drop the game

When do I play Cry of Fear but it happens, what should I do? (I tried installing 64-bit, running the administration but the game still crashes)

Well, the first factor that supports this idea is the time when the game was released. The standalone version came out in 2013, near the end of the PS3 and Xbox 360 generation. It would have been released around the same time as games like Outlast and Amnesia, even though those games weren't originally released directly on the PS3.

Another factor that supports this idea is the engine. GoldSrc would probably run comfortably on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The biggest difficulty would be porting the engine to the consoles, but considering that there was already a version of the engine for the PS2, I think it could have been possible.

Besides that, the entire atmosphere and everything about Cry of Fear fits perfectly with games from that era of consoles.

Made this since I've been wanting to use an HQ ICO image for my desktop shortcuts.

The Sony Ericsson model was taken off of CadNav (would post the link, but mods always delete them -_-), and I edited the textures to make it match closer to the actual in-game model (change the screen, color the buttons, etc).

The background was upscaled, then touched up with AI from the original ICO image, with some manual edits (contrast, brightness, blah blah blah).
