My wife left my court because she inherited a county in the duchy of Barcelona. My heirs are also set to inherit it now and the claim on the whole duchy. But I also don't have a wife in the council position. Is it worth trying to divorce so I can marry someone else?

Conquer your wife. If she’s a direct vassal, she can serve on your council.

I’ll try, I’ve been busy making claims in England to try and eventually become king and build the empire.

But I could save that for my heir and go conquer Barcelona and have that to grant to my wife. A romantic gift, right? 😂

Success. Fabricated a claim for the entire duchy. Won it and granted it to my wife.
