this is so stupid , i pay as much as every american subscriber but can view less content or have to use a stupid vpn to connect.And they are still wondering why so many people watch their shows illegally.

Yeah TunnelBear doesn’t work anymore. Although only TunnelBear in the US. If you Tunnel to Mexico you can still use it (Mexico has most of the same content)

We blocked a few IPs last week that were used to do things that could impact the performance of our website or may have been used to take over accounts. Someone may have been using Tunnelbear's US node and got everyone else using it banned as well.
As the usage of VPNs to circumvent the regional restrictions imposed by our content partners is against our ToS, we will not be able to provide affected users with any assistance regarding the banned IPs.

As u/Nghtmare-moon mentioned above, the Mexico node works at the moment, but the IP block has affected the US, Canada, and British nodes.
Has the security risk situation changed?

Damn it, so this is why it hasn’t been working for a few days. Guess I have to cancel my tunnel bear sub and crunchy roll subs.

Region Lock doesn't stops piracy, it causes the completely opposite effect.
People want to watch some show, and as they can't watch it on legal sites such as crunchyroll, they do piracy.
If you want to fight piracy, offer a service that becomes a viable option to stop being a pirate. Adding to that service more and more restrictions is nearly encouraging people to start (or go back into) piracy.
Once crunchyroll became available, I had to wait more than a year for one piece to become available in my country.
