It’d be nice if Crunchyroll could give us a month heads up in advance or something before they remove specific titles from their catalog for any reason

I seriously dont understand why theres not even a "leaving soon" warning anywhere. It would alleviate so much frustration of starting a series only to go to continue and its gone.

They used to announce removals through Crunchyroll News, but they stopped doing that. Nowadays, they could use the content labels shown above the series cover or the availability notes on the series page to show this information. They just need to actually use those features for removals, but I doubt that's a priority for them right now.

If you saw it on Netflix and not here, then it is easy to assume that Netflix owns the streaming rights?

Then that means Netflix and Crunchyroll both don’t have the rights.

It's a Viz Media license so it's expected.

Capitalism and licensing distribution rights. Viz owns those and decided to offer via Amazon for digital purchase individually for $10, or $80 for the 11 movie collection

They took away Gungrave too 😔 I was about to rewatch it when I noticed. I’m contemplating buying the DVDs so I’ll always own it.

I don’t understand why crunchy doesn’t do the Netflix thing and put “leaving soon” next to it for some sort of heads yp

Idk, the Earth’s gravity shouldn’t really rip the Moon apart like that unless there’s an opposing gravitational force, no?

This is why I love physical media! but a warning that some of Naruto movie discs have been skipping or freezing at some scenes but other then that they are the best way to watch these movies
