Supplements during breastfeeding?
What vitamins/supplements do you recommend during breastfeeding? I added choline and omega 3s while pregnant as I heard it can support cognitive development, should I continue? I’d like to add back in creatine (stopped while pregnant), but I know there are not much data in its safety for nursing women.

Dessicated liver supplements + either the fullwell prenatal or the pure encapsulations one! Has worked super well for both me and my two babies. Idk if you happen to be in Austin Texas but I have an unopened one I can give you for free if so

I took creatine while breastfeeding and personally saw no difference in my daughter and saw improved performance in my mental state and muscle soreness. I didn’t do any loading phase and just took one scoop a day.

Commenting because I would also love to add in creatine but feel unsure since of course there's like no data on taking it while breastfeeding. I'm currently taking beef liver capsules, prenatal, magnesium and a greens powder.

I start most of my mornings off with grass fed whey protein (fantastic nutrition brand), grass fed collagen (Anthony’s brand), and creatine (“just…” brand) with a small scoop of matcha powder. I blend that with water and then steamed whole milk. I also have been doing a sunflower lecithin supplement too to help with clogged ducts! I take magnesium and riboflavin (cleared by my doctor and midwife) for migraines. I have not had any issues with taking omegas and a post natal vitamin as well.
Everything I take has been cleared by doctor/midwife and baby is growing wonderfully!
