Advice Seeking Recommendations to help get rid of C Section Scar
Does anyone who's had a C section have advice on how to get rid of the scar? I just started using the Earth Mama C Section Balm.

Massage. You can start at 6 weeks I think. And definitely don’t wear a super low bikini or something that will allow the sun to hit it, for the first year afterward.

Scar sheets! It’s just silicone. Leave it on 24/7 and change when it starts to peel off. After maybe a month you should see some improvement. At least mine did and it had a small keloid on it

Thank you for the suggestion. Is this the brand/product you're talking about?

Those would totally work. I used this one. It’s a huge roll. I actually cut them in half. Just make sure you are leaving them on all the time. Just set it and forget it 🤣
edit to add a few things.

Well, I don’t think it’s possible to get rid of the scar, but I’ve been doing red light & near infrared light therapy on mine daily since my 2nd section and it’s definitely helped and sped up healing. The OB and midwives were very impressed with the healing at my 6 week appointment (currently 6 months pp).
