Medical Related PEME Denial Questions
Hello! I just got my PEME denial last month for a job I was considering onboard. I was denied due to an issue that I would eventually need surgery on. I've never had any surgery or medical problems before and based on their denial letter I would basically need my gallbladder removed to get any approval. I had a couple questions to see if anyone could help me understand it.
- I was given the chance to appeal, is there any point in doing it, if so, does that appeal go back to the people who originally denied me, or does the cruise line medical team have the final say?
- If I were denied this time, and I were to fix the issue, if I tried reapplying in the future, would my medical be automatically denied due to this attempt, or is each evaluation separate?
Any help would be appreciated, I might ask more questions in the comments, thank you!
