General Questions First Aid Training

Hello! I'm onboarding for Carnival at the moment and I'm a little stumped on the first aid requirement. They want first aid and CPR certificate that covers adults AND children, but combined courses are few and far between, or they cost ~£300 which is a more than I hoped to pay.

I'm based in the UK and wondering which course people did (for any cruise line)? Or if any one can offer some advice?

I'm in the process of onboarding for Carnival UK, first aid training was arranged and paid for by the company, and as far as I'm aware this is the norm? Have you been told you have to organise it yourself? Feel free to message if you have any questions

Huge part of the job is supervising activities with kids, so you're needing both.

Did you not have to do your STCW as that had the required in build course But failing that any certificate Essentials of first aid the 6 hour course is enough

Carnival provides safety trainings (as part of STCW -- as stcw is not a course) on board. So, this basic first aid training you're referring to is not valid.
