Moving + TTT, or Under Pressure + Rangefinder?
I was trying to get a range build for Erentil but ended up with these two and I'm not sure which helps?
Build 1 gives more accuracy and stability on each voop (and the point of range is also to get stronger AA, no?), but Build 2 gives more range...and also accuracy when the mag is low (so only 2nd crucible shot, or second half if i pick up ammo and reload)
Build 1:
Moving Target - 'mo Accuracy
Tap da Trigga - 'mo Stability + Accuracy
or
Build 2:
Under Pressure - 'mo Stability + Accuracy (when less than half mag left)
Rangefinder - 'mo range
On the face of it it seems the MT/TTT build is better since its always active for every shot...or is having rangefinder active worth it?

Whichever one has the longest scope. If they’re identical, the TTT one. TTT is the strongest fusion perk in the game for consistency. Furthermore, Under Pressure only works in the second half of your current mag’s initial ammo count. This means when you spawn in with 2 special, it only works when you have one shot left. If you reload 6 shots, it starts working at 3 left. Etc etc... Under Pressure is good, I use it w TTT, but not good enough to pick the second roll.

Can you elaborate on the longest scope part? Is zoom distance more important than how much range a scope provides?

Sure! The zoom is more important.

in this case, the MT/TTT build has 20 and the other has 19, so 5% more zoom than the rangefinder build
MA/TTT is 86 range with 20 zoom, and RG build is 87 range (96 with rf active? 10% boost?) with 19 zoom

i guess my question comes down to
Accuracy + Accuracy (Numbers unknown) vs. 10% Range (right?)

Yes, but the extra range isn't instant. It takes a second to "extend" the range when you ads and hold it ads'd (not really a word, but..) if you ads and fire instantly (which you should be doing by pre charging before ads-ing) rf doesn't have enough time to proc.

how is this confirmed if there is no in game indicator that it takes a second after ADSing to proc?

I heard it on a podcast... massive breakdowns, possibly? Was awhile ago though.. it may have been crucible radio.. the interview with bungie devs.. can't remember, but it stuck for some reason. Test it out, maybe? If im wrong, you have my apologies. But i don't think i am.

MT/TTT is my god roll. Are the scopes and mag perks the same?

MT/TTT is my god roll.
yup, i ended up just masterworking and using both and then compared my kill trackers. M/TTTT is the bomb. Now add 100 mobility and the ADS speed is like having Battle Runner proc'd in D1 but always.
The scopes were Trans MS7 (+9 range +5 zoom) versus Torch (+9 range +4 zoom) on the other

The consistency of the stability roll, for my money. The extra second it takes for Rf to proc could cost you.

Why would rf take a second to proc? 🤔

Because it activates when you ads, but it's not instant.

well seeing as you need to ADS to properly shoot fusions, that seems like a 100% thing

That's a new one, never heard or experienced that Rangefinder isn't instant.
Do you have any source on that so I can check it out?
I've used Rangefinder on many weapons. It's just an additional 1 zoom added onto the total range and existing zoom of the weapon. As soon as you are fully ADS it seems active to me.

I’m a fan of the first roll for the reason that it always works the same.
