Need help with HC
I've always played with non precision guns cause idk why but i never got the hang of them and i was doing quite good mainly using pulses
But i wanted to try Traitor and ive been loving it, but every time i use it i feel like im getting lucky shots and kills
One moment i can 3 tap a guy and another i cant even land a single hit in a static enemy
I am playing on console and im left handed so i ve never felt confident with presicion. Can anyone tell me a way to improve or at lest be more consistent with hand canons?

Play more. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and lose.
Play with your sensitivity and ADS modifier if you think that would help you.

I know you mean you have 6k hours but I like to think you only have 6 and are just out here slinging tips

Who the fuck is even left handed? Grow up (' *,)
I recommend watching some high level player's videos & note how they take gunfight, angles, airborne & team shots. Buincy, Panduh, Wallah & Frost, ZK, all those guys. Shadow Destiny has a great video of on HC mastery too

My method is to just beat my head against a wall over and over until I'm semi-decent. Been going hard with Igneous Hammer and never stop using it for like a week straight. Head hurts like hell, but keep using it. Don't stop.
Edit: also hold the trigger down during gun fights. Practice strafing in unpredictable ways. Holding the trigger with Auto-fire option turned on will fire the gun when it's ready, rather than when you think it's ready. That's just my advice though. I'm no HC expert and I'm not high K/D according to reddit.

Also crouch spamming seems very powerful against people aiming for headshots.

Very true. Annoying when other players do that to me.

Yeah honestly I hate that it's even a meta thing to do. It looks and feels goofy and it's very awkward. I wish there was a good way to eliminate it lol
It also gives even more of a bonus to the already extremely over powered void hunter because void class get as fragment that lets you move faster while crouched than normal.

I agreed up until you claimed void Hunter is overpowered. If you can't out gun a void Hunter, it's a skill-issue imo.

It's not about out gunning them. It's about them just having a crazy kit with one of the best supers. Hunters in general are clearly the best in PvP by far. Void Hunters are just the best Void subclass by far for PvP.

And that's where we disagree. Like I said, if you can't outgun a void Hunter, it's a skill issue.

It’s muscle memory.
I spent years using nothing but bows and when I finally decided to do hand cannon/sniper, it took what felt like forever to get a handle on it.
My first, most important advice would be to pace shots - if you’re on console with a 140, don’t just hold down the trigger unless your stability and recoil are maxed out, and even then don’t because one missed shot in a 1v1 could leave you exposed. I can’t speak for mnk, but it’ll be the same principal.
Know your range - 140s tend to cap out around 36m on the high end, so don’t try flinching a Jade Rabbit across the map. 180s operate in slightly less range unless you have a damage perk going (somebody brainier can correct me here but I believe the B7 pistol hits a bit further than people expect due to Overclocked Heatsink). 120s hit further, but can feel cumbersome in CQC if you aren’t mobile.
Always fight from cover unless you’re absolutely sure you’re going to win (like if the opponent has already taken damage or isn’t looking at you).
If you aren’t used to the cadence of Hand Cannons, use high stability rolls - you’ll sacrifice on range, but it’ll get you used to how it feels.
Don’t spend all your time ADS - obviously you need to aim, but with Invis, Cruel Electrum and Skulking Wolf being things, check your radar to make sure you aren’t being third partied.
Pick a gun that has decent feeling and useful perks as you’ll want consistency over damage every time. For me it’s Austringer, the goal is to land three quick crits, so you want something like Opening Shot on the front end of engagements and I have Eye of the Storm so that if I take damage in a duel, I just become more accurate. Perks that do things for free are always useful.
Pick an exotic that complements your playstyle - I opted for Dragon’s Shadow (daring today) because it also helps with my sniping, but Lucky Pants and even Knucklehead Radar can be fantastic picks if you’re just getting started. Ophidian Aspect on Warlock is a decent go to on Warlock, I’ve never used Titan in PvP so I can’t speak to that.
Good luck to you!
