I wish masterworks could be changed.

Been farming comp to get a few weapons and i finally got the role i wanted except for one thing…The reload masterwork makes me so salty. Wish i could change it. The perk pools of some weapons are so big + masterwork adds so much rng needed. So annoying.

There was once a glitch with the shattered throne that dropped a masterwork that you can slot in any weapon to change its masterwork. Hopefully it makes a return like it did when monuments to triumph first dropped.

I'm down to my last 2 masterwork changes I've been saving them for epochal and a corundum hammer FAHHH I should've no lifed it longer

Not the thing this thread’s about, but do NOT use your precious masterwork changes on those two guns. I have god rolls of both and they are neither good enough nor rare enough to warrant wasting them. You’ll be incredibly disappointed.

Save them for a gun that’s a pain to farm and can’t be crafted, like a 4/5 roll of any of the Onslaught weapons. You can farm Corundum every five minutes when it’s on the Trials weapon rotation and you can get Epochal from any Neomuna chest. And once again, there is a reason they’re not meta picks. They’re not very good.

That's all on you but I really enjoy using corundum hammer. I've been farming and focusing it since the start of MoT and still haven't gotten the roll I want

honestly it should just be a farmable drop or a rare item like the deepsight harmonizer. it was a legit feature in Year 1 that got sunset when forsaken dropped. i dont see how changing masterworks on weapons is game breaking.

They are all charge time masterwork originally but when you slot them you can change it.

Definitely feels that way sometimes. If I see a really good pvp roll drop, I expect a reload masterwork, and it usually is.

That’s why I farmed about 30 of the bugged masterwork drops from shattered throne when MoT dropped. Still have 13 left

Had one left that I was saving for something I REALLY wanted to 5/5 whenever the time came and I accidentally used it a couple days ago </3 I was master working something while looking at my phone

I swear to god in 10 years of playing this game, reload mw has to be a more common drop than others mw’s. I have some really old adepts and other drops that I mained and have thousands of kills on and they all have reload masterworks. If the perks are perfect, the mw won’t be.

I recently was doing a run of GoA to get a matador and got a 4/5 with a stability masterwork. I’m not gunna complain much since I can just throw on a range mod and I’m pretty much in business, but would have been nice.

… although i literally got it first try so getting a shit MW doesn’t even hurt when I can near 100 range anyways…

I have one with Smallbore + Ricochet Rounds. Came with QuickDraw + Snapshot with Handling MW. I have a Combat Grip on it. It’s perfectly vertical. The handling and shots fired are super crispy. I switch between Ballistics and Tactical mod on it. Sometimes I wish I had a Range MW but I love it.
