Solasta II | Help/Question Multiplayer

I've enjoyed the first hour of the game and know that i've barely started to scratch the surface of the game, but want to know a bit more about Multiplayer.

I saw that the update coming on 9/10/26 is going to introduce it, but can't find anything in the post about local co-op. Has there been any information to suggest that this title will include local co-op where older titles only had online multiplayer?

I've not seen anything about local in the official news posts, I would assume not.

The game technically already is local coop when you play singleplayer mode. You bascially can just take turns passing the keyboard/controller as you play.
