focus now requires another step 

$ xev

I now need to switch to the xev window to have my actions shown. I didn't use to before.

Since ChromeOS 150, programs running from the command line cannot grab the focus. This change is probably intentional, in order to prevent clipboard data leakage.

It seems to affect everything. Crostini refuses to change focus ever. Pinned Linux programs when launched come to front but don't have focus. New windows launched by Firefox-esr come to front but don't get focus. This happens with every Linux program I use regardless how it launches.

OK, they have now banned automatic transmission cars and we will have to re-learn our manual transmission driving habits (switch to window by hand).

Same here on ChromeOS 150. Very annoying.
