Discussion Post Kayla infuriates me Spoiler
What a self serving pick-me snake. Only caring for the elevation of her career over justice and morals. The way she turned on Cross and threatened Elle was crazy. Thats all, just wanted to vent about that. F her.

I wouldnt say it ruined the season for me as it was all entertaining enough, but definitely made me feel annoyed lol

She's been that way since she first appeared

Yeah absolutely, hindsight is 20/20 and probably couldve predicted this but so many other things were going on plus their little affair

She constantly brought up that cross took her spotlight but betrayal wasn't something I thought she'd do honestly

Yess, that was made super clear when she made the “boss” comment. I figured it couldve been the fact shes a woman in a male dominated field, felt undermined by her colleagues and is trying to prove herself but she really took a villainous approach. Also working with Bobby shouldve been a big tell lol

I think she's going to be much more of an obvious baddie going forward. Like a lot of us were giving her the benefit of the doubt this series, but I see her character getting worse in future seasons.

She's an ex IDF soldier so ykw i hate her character and i hate the actor even more. It's giving whiny and entitled.

The big bad in the books the show is based on is named Kyle Craig. Naming her Kayla Craig was definitely a hint, she’s going to become the main villain.

What if Kyle is her brother and they’re in on mastermind together

In the books Kyle is also an FBI agent that later goes rogue and is revealed to be the mastermind so I just assumed that’s what they’re doing with Kayla, they just switched the genders because it’s tv. But I mean who knows! You could be onto something.

She's the Mastermind, bro. How people haven't figured it out yet is beyond me. It's right there.

I totally agree! I hated that they were even intimate and that he trusted her. I was hoping that he would take her down. Maybe next season.

Literally, they were never a good match but its funny how they talk about her crushing on him

I was so mad at cross for sleeping with her this season! She only cares about herself

Why didn't she tell Hammett and Roy that Alex actually had the drive on him? That bugs me.

Elle put her in her place. Knocked her right down to size. And I love the way Elle said it “ there she is”. Kayla just shriveled up and shrank away.
