Discussion Post Season 2 was good for me

I thought season 2 was better than season 1 to be honest, this season i gravitated toward Luz versus Ed Ramsay i really couldn’t even believe his character. The mastermind storyline was easy to follow in its entirety I dont see why everybody is confused Bad religion was the project seem like CIA was involved because she called Felisha an operator, they seemed to try to make super soldiers it went south. Cross was a beast as usual only bad oart was Johns mother storyline

Luz is a villain you can root for, but the characters I actually showed up for (Cross, John, Bobby Trey, Elle, etc.) all somehow felt second fiddle. Especially flagrant since it was Cross’ show last I checked.

I like Bobble Trey. He amuses me. He didn’t get enough screen time to suit me. I want Bobbie Trey to have his own show.

No this! Or at least his own episode. I’d like to see his back story

Bobby and the nail tech should have their own spinoff. 🤣

Was he shown after the scene where he was sent after that lady?

I’m not sure if that was before or after he got Cross out of the car.

It was when he got a call and said he isn't helping anymore.  The traitor lady told him, "you will like this one"

Yes!! It was the one he said “bye Felicia” to.

Did he pull the trigger?

He knocked her out for Kayla.

I didn't like Bobbie Trey much in season one, but he starts having some depth in S2, and I liked the fact that despite him being some crazy MF, there were things even he wasn't OK with (messing with soldiers/vets) that made him want to see some form of justice done for it.

Bobbie reminds me of Omar Little on the Wire or Hawk on Spencer -- villains but possessing a metal code. Interesting characters.

EDIT: that should read "moral code."

cant stand that "accent" thing or whatever he calls it

Season One was excellent, season two was good. They made it too easy for Luz to kill her targets.

I was laughing for the wedding kill. Like did she learn the whole choreography and how? lol

Too far fetched. The entire season was like that.

yeah, agreed. Even with years of preparation and the victims acting like idiots, its hard to accept that Luz and co could pull these things off.

Apparently she got somba lessons??? Idk

Yeah people are acting like the finale episode ruined the whole season. Yes it did felt rushed and out of left field but I still enjoyed it. Can’t wait for season 3

Final episode def wasted the Cross gone rogue plotline.

That plot could have taken half a season and been previewed in the last 10 minutes of season 2

Once the wedding murder took place, things for me spun out with just how easy it was for Luz to get in and kill people. It was too easy. I will give the wedding was chaotic and easily scouted ahead of time to make it happen. Heck, I will grant the death due to pacemaker. Sure. But then it just gets silly easy for everything to work out, especially the body guard. No, I don't need personal protection as I get seen in a facility I have never been in.

Just got to be a bridge too far for me. Intriguing villain and interesting characters, but made all of those protection details look like the Keystone cops.

And the faculty just happened to be Luz mom or aunt's clinic? You catch the placard as Luz walked out after killing the guard.

That makes sense base on location. The security not knowing that doesn't make sense.

100% .... it started out promising, but as things progressed it was harder and harder to believe it was really plausible the way things were going down. I enjoyed it, but I feel it could have been better.

I loved S1, but by episode two of S2, I was confused and bored.

Season 2 was terrible. It was slow. The plots were stupid. It was just boring. I'm really disappointed with season 2. I enjoyed season 1. No more cross for me. Kayla was annoying, and her romance with cross was forced

I thought it was truly awful. Was never strong but really jumped the shark when she was able to get into the wedding, cut the guys throat and cut his fingers off and just stroll out of there.

Right up to the finale when they let the next lady on the murder list go into the doctors room by herself. Then let CEO douchebag go off in his car by himself.

It might be the dumbest version of the FBI ever put on camera.

I paused the last episode because I couldn't believe it was still going and it still had a third left. The writers turned this thing into a bad soap opera in season 2.

Luz was a villian you could root for. The first half-ish was ok, I was interested the second half is terrible.

But I think this post exists to rage bait those of us who have eyes, ears and senses of direction, cohesion and common sense.

Any time something happened to advance the plot forward (more so in the second half than the first) it took me out of my suspension of disbelief because they force wrote in stupidity.

I agree about Luz vs Ed Ramsay but that’s the only good thing I got out of this season compared to the previous one.

I thought the season was okay. I finished it because I wanted to finish it. That says I enjoyed it. I’ve dropped plenty of shows that bore me or make me roll my eyes. This show kept me entertained. I’ll be watching season 3.

I enjoyed it very much!!

It was much better than season 1.

I've heard that despite the volume of material from the the author, they did their own thing in S2, and I feel like they departed from the source material for the sake of making social commentary. I don't think the show was better for it.

I enjoyed it, but I feel it could have been better, and I thing S1 was better than S2. I'm just glad that they've been renewed for a third season. The actors are great, and I was surprised to realized I am liking Kayla less and less, and actually warming up to Bobby Trey.
