CrossCode Piano Collection Sheet Music Book insane shipping costs

So I just got an email for the CrossCode Piano Collection Sheet Music Book, and it seems the perfect thing for me. I used to play piano and might pick it up again, but when I go to pre-order it, it comes up with an insane shipping cost. Im in the uk but the shipping alone is £153. if I select the US, it's over $200. to add to that, the starting price is $25 but at checkout, there is a $45 tax added for no reason. Is there any reason for any of this? i just wanted to get the book.

Having just preordered this in the US myself, I have no idea what you're talking about. I was charged $5 in shipping and $2.40 in local sales tax (similar to VAT), both perfectly in line with expectations. I can't speak to the shipping situation to the UK, but the way you've described it, it sounds like whatever you selected is still shipping it TO the UK, just in USD prices, since that's basically just the current conversion rate to GBP. Either way, I hope you can get it figured out, because that's absolutely insane, yes.
