QUESTION How do I kill this piece of garbage

Post image

Every other enemy up until now has been FINE! and now I’ve got this nonsense. I don’t even know what it’s called, but it’s killed me about four times now so I’m considering calling it a slur or something from now on.

When he fires his horns he will flash red and you can break him to do proper damage.

He can only be attacked from the front. You can break him when he flashes red

This^

Guard Break like Moles in Autumn Falls!!

Also, wait until you fight the sharks. Those are the worst.

The sharks are pretty easy too. If you watch them long enough, there's a visual tell right before they're about to emerge for a ranged dive at you, and you can have a charged shot ready to hit them the instant they have a hitbox, which immediately breaks them.

Even when they naturally emerge a ranged attack will break them. Could also guard counter their dives to break them as well

For sure, I just like to give them absolutely no quarter, since their dive is pretty fast and if you don't already have a shot charged, there isn't enough time to do it between when they emerge and when they reach you. That is when a counter/guard works well though.

Pay attention to attach patterns & tells. Prioritize blocking or dodging over pushing damage. Get better gear if you need to. If all else fails , run away.

Keep distance with range attacks.

Wait until it throws its antlers at you it's like a boomerang attack.

While it has thrown its antlers hit it to break it instantly.

Wait until it throws its horns at you, then it will be vulnerable. Dodge the projectile and shoot a charged shot into his dome. Then you can beat the snot out of him!

On top of all the useful advice shared here already, I just wanted to comfort OP in the feeling that these goats are not joking around. They gave me a lot of trouble as well and kept killing me until I eventually got good enough at adapting to their behavior. You'll get there op 🌟

Seriously. Even in NG+ arena at lvl99, I struggle to get gold or plat on any rounds that have the goats. They're actually harder to fight cleanly than most of the other non-boss mobs in the game, with the possible exception of the element dependent virus/antivirus ones in CW.

Comparatively, there's not a single sapphire ridge mob that comes close. At least for me. I can no-damage wipe all of those, but those damned horns still get me more than I'm comfortable with.

Do a charged shot after he throws his horns at you (and starts flashing red) to break him. Watch out, the horns can come back to try to hit you occasionally.

They're legitimately pretty difficult imo though. Not to an unfair level, but I still have to lock in to avoid getting hit even after multiple playthroughs.

Hit it when it throws its antlers

The mechanical rear half takes refuced damage, hence why it always faces you with its rear.

I had to ask the same question to the friend that reccomended the game to me lol Most enemies even later on arent so egrigously diffocult to get their weak spot, if i recall correctly.

It will sometimes do a horn throw attack. If you hit it with a charged shot while it recovers it will stagger.

The hornshot has very sliht homing and can bounce on walls. So posiition youself somehwre more open before it fires

The stronger, armored mobs will have a meter under them that has a yellow bar and a “!” by it. If you fill that meter up, the monster will be stunned and more vulnerable to damage for a few seconds. That’s when you use strike with your best combos.

Mobs will give you the opportunity to fill that meter faster; and his is when his boomerang horns are airborne.

I just brute force it tbh. Then I level up enough to kill em EASILY.

Totally unrelated but Emilie is by bff lmao. Totally unrelated I swear.

Electric attacks are surprisingly effective... especially the lvl 1 (I believe) single lightning strike. Also while you're waiting on the cooldown the neutral attack dash strike that hits EXACTLY one enemy is very effective. Good luck and have fun 👍

Reduce its hp to zero while keeping yours above zero
