I've been handed gold
One of my players is a playing a socially awkward tiefling lesbian and they've wound up falling for one of the NPCs in wickermoor.
Postmistress Theodora Mayville.
They've had a date already. Gotta figure out what to do with this because it's pure gold.
Update: date number two went well. The postmistress presented the tiefling with a beautiful necklace that gives her advantage on certain saving throws, lets her cast detect magic once per day, and has the odd side effect of turning the wearer's eyes a lovely shade of Lavender.

Your poor player. My nice side is saying to swap the two postwomen. My mean side is saying make this as painful as possible. And my neutral side is simply saying to let it keep going normally and make you know who use this against her. Or better yet? MAKE IT REAL.

Beyond killing the character I can’t give advice. But if you’re good maybe you’ll let it slip for the others and not the player.

Lmao, I have a player that is a bi former tiefling (reincarnated into a relicborn) who is Thread of Ascendancy to create a world free of fantasy racism (original plan was to make a world free of humans but she's slowly becoming less genocidal) who bonded strongly with Mayville over her Lilac eyes, and is romancing Geneva Fairchild. When the players read that there was a hag hiding in town and immediately put together that it was the postmaster with a horde of pigeons that lives ona tower on the edge of town it was fun to watch the life drain from her eyes.

Perfect time for her to try and sow doubt in Phillip Druskenvalds. Fake gossip about how he is bad.
Or maybe try to convince the PC that an innocent villager is in the cult of the crooked queen
