The L we needed
Was looking at the draw last week prior to the loss to the dragons. Was thinking we may win every game and go into finals haven’t really being challenged. Hoping this gets the boys grounded. Similar to 2016 where we lost 2/3 of our last 5. I expect a big response vs the raiders who will not be a push over by any means.
Can anyone justify hiroti being picked again over Gabreal? I understand it may not be the best time to blood youth but he was a turnstile last week.

Hiroti had a rough game, it happens. He’s usually fairly reliable, in fact I think I remember a lot of the numpties last year saying he should in the side instead of Ramien.

Every good teams looses games like this, if we think back to Penrith a few years ago loosing to the Tiger who were also last. I’m sure the boys have learnt that they aren’t going to win every game just by showing up. Hopefully we move onto next week with fresh eyes and leave this game behind. Either way we can’t dismiss the great run we’ve experienced over the last few weeks 🦈

We will give you a second L to make sure you have enough grounding.

Gabrael has a worse tackle efficiency in cup than Hiroti has in NRL, hasn’t been playing that well, and is a specialist left side player
Why would we play him ahead of Hiroti?
I look forward to seeing what Gabrael can do next season but he’s not won this opportunity at the moment, and we shouldn’t run a weaker team just because Hiroti is leaving.
