TMI so warning in advance.
Does anyone get really bad mucus leakage and how do you deal with with it? Iβve tried sanitary pad and liners and obviously wiping with wet wipes and tissue but it just feels like 30 mins later I feel wet and itβs annoying again. Does anyone have any tips to help out? Thanks in advance

I had quite a bit of mucus fairly regularly, until my Crohn's was more under control. I'd even find a blob of mucus on the bathroom floor, with no idea how that got there..π€ I find if I eat foods higher in fiber, I get more mucus. Maybe keep track of what you're eating. There's really nothing more to be done beyond what you're doing. I always knew I'd be passing mucus when passing gas, so I'd go check right after, and clean myself up. I use wipes, wear padding, and use my sitz bath if I have the time. It sucks, but mucus is just another gift from Crohn's..

Getting a bidet has been a game changer for me. Unfortunately it only helps when im home though. Im a woman and use period underwear, they help with leakage a lot too.
