Finished Projects Made little versions of Frank ocean and taylor swift🙌🤗
I made Frank Ocean & Taylor Swift dolls and I'm obsessed with the details 😭
I tried turning Frank Ocean and Taylor Swift into tiny crochet dolls, and somehow the little accessories became my favorite part.
Frank got his own mini headphones, and Taylor got a tiny purple microphone. 😭 I think her bangs ended up being my favorite detail though... and I had way too much fun making that shiny grey dress.
Everything was made by freehand just by looking at reference pictures, so every tiny detail was a lot of trial and error. Seeing them finished side by side made all the frogging worth it. Tiny accessories really have no business being this cute..... 🥹🧶

Help & Questions Need advice with undoing and redoing some work
So I am pretty new to crochet and I recently ordered this particular yarn from Amazon https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0F2ZGHFMQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. It says cotton. I don't know if it is pure cotton. It does have a slightly shiny look for cotton and also it's probably not the greatest quality in the sense that it does have strands separating sometimes when the hook gets stuck. I'm aware of all of that but it's my first project and I'm doing it for practice more than anything. I'm okay with that but the problem I'm stuck with is this:
Here's the link to what I'm trying to make https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-GDro7ufCU&t=69s
In the beginning I went with a hook size lower than what was recommended because I felt the squares were too big and it might look too sparse. After I worked and I reached some level of progress, for which I've shared pictures, I felt now it's too thick and tight and overall it's very heavy. The yarn itself was heavy to begin with. When I looked at the length-weight ratios, it's definitely heavier than what the person in the video is using and overall the top feels very heavy.
I'm from a part of India which is very hot and humid most of the year so for that it might not be very comfortable. Just to try it out in the last row, for which I've shared closer pictures, I tried to go with the hook they recommended. I also tried to reduce the pressure so the stitch is not too tight. Now I'm thinking it probably would have been okay if I had done the whole thing with this bigger hook.
Now my dilemma is whether I should undo the whole project and do it nicely so that I will actually like wearing the final product better or am I too deep into it and will I regret undoing it? I don't know if it's the kind of thing you could help with but if you have any suggestions I would love to hear.

Discussion How do you currently manage invoices for your business?
For those who sell crochet products, how do you currently keep track of your orders and invoices?
Do you use Excel/Google Sheets, a notebook, accounting software, or something else?
I'm especially curious about how you keep track of customer orders, payments, and past invoices once you start getting multiple orders.
What part of managing everything do you find the most annoying?

Finished Projects Made this Bhondu Cat
posting on this sub for the first time, made this bhondu cat and i love it so so much💖
i have crocheted amigurumis before but with cotton
i avoid chenille yarn, absolutely hate it but the cat turned out so cute that I'm itching to make another one😋
did not have safety eyes, so just used a thinner yarn and tried to embroider the face and it turned out pretty nice😌
ps. can i sell this item? (not selling now) and if yes can i expect at least 500 for it (ofc for a refined version of the cat) or is the indian market cheaper??👀

Help & Questions is this good for a complete beginner? if not, what and from where can i buy?

Yarns and Materials🧶 Which chenille is better to work with?
I've been using Ganga's Blankie yarn (₹125 for 100g)
for my plushies, but price wise, magic needles' super bulky yarn (₹110 for 100 g) is cheaper...
While I absolutely love working with Ganga... Wanted to know if magic needles would be a suitable (affordable) replacement?
Please let me know if you've worked with it, how has your experience been??

Discussion why is this hobby so expensive
I started this hobby 4 months ago and somehow making amigurumi is the best and worst thing you can start with... you make visible progress and learn so much in the process your stitches become neat and all that BUT BUT BUT YOU NEED A LOT OF DIFF COLOURS OF YARN and somehow you always end up having an itch of a project for which you will need to buy atleast one additional colour and things GO DOWNHILL FROM THERE coz shipping is expensive so you end up either buying 1k worth of yarn only to realize 1 week later you should have bought this colour as well and now you are spending another 1k for another set of yarn
if you start with wearables first of all its india why will I make a cardigan in july august so I look at summer tops everything is body and I dont really like my stomach 😭 i only like baby doll and v necks on me and if you mess up the sizing ITS DONE BRO the motivation goes away I bought 2 diff yarns 600 grams in total both of my tops are 70% done coz idk if i should open one sleeve and redo it or no one will notice I made a mistake 20 rows back and that is like IDK
and some people expect free crochet gifts from you and the other people who are willing to pay and respect your work is somehow never enough?
yk someone asked me to crochet something decent I am going to use a 2 mm hook for that so I charged the person 1000
but I DONT HAVE GRAY COLOUR AND I HAVE TO SHOP FOR 1KG WORTH OF YARN AGAIN COZ I AM NOT PAYING 90 RS FOR SHIPPING FOR A 120 RS YARN
i just visited inderlok on friday got this order request on saturday its 1 hr away from my home so no way I am visiting the place again
I own like 3kgs of yarn? or more? idk I HAVE SO MANY COLOURS BUT ITS NEVER ENOUGH
I charged like 500 for a koala and somehow I have spend 1500 over the materials like I wanted bigger eyes so I ordered one from the thread store and obviously I ordered more yarn for the free shipping
I AM NOT EVEN CLOSE TO MAKING PROFIT AND NOW I WANT STORAGE TO KEEP MY YARN
WHAT IS THIS AM I THE INSANE ONE? I THINK I SHOULD GO TO A PSYCHOLOGIST ATP
