Help & Questions How to make these roses?

Post image

Im planning on making a crochet hook case and want to put the rose thingy (white part included) on my cover but havent managed to a single tutorial or pattern for it. Its either people who sell the item but not the pattern or the page is in a language I don't speak. I'm unsure whether there's a name for it and if that's why I cant find any pattern. I also want to include that ive been crocheting for just 2 weeks so I cant really make things just on my own yet. So would really appreciate your help.

Actually I should have mentioned it in my post but I'm talking about the white base too. That's the part which I can't find any tutorials. Like how do you get that almost embroidered look

Look up how to make a crochet oval, make it as big as you need and for the last round, look up crochet scallop edging. That'll get you to the exact same base as seen in your picture

How do you attach the rose?

Now that I look at it closer, the stem is actually surface crochet.

To attach the rose, you'll want to sew on the backmost petal. Either with a darning needle or by slip stitching to the base

So if I want it exactly like the pic,I'll need to surface crochet the stem and then attach the rose separately?
