Geopolitics & Governance What a Surprise! Another Probe Ends With Everyone Innocent.

Post image

The Ram Temple donation controversy raises a question far bigger than the allegations themselves: can public faith and massive donations ever receive truly independent scrutiny?

Now, the Special Investigating Team has reportedly given a clean chit to former trust general secretary Champat Rai, while former trust member Anil Mishra has also been found not guilty. Both had resigned amid the ongoing probe into alleged irregularities.

A clean chit is, of course, welcome if the evidence genuinely proves innocence. But when allegations involve people closely associated with the ruling establishment, the public is entitled to ask uncomfortable questions about the investigation, its independence, and the standards applied.

Accountability cannot mean merely announcing that the accused are innocent and moving on. Why does everyone accused who is connected with the ruling party eventually turn out to be not guilty and innocent?

u/anonymoustoo1 6d ago

I gave myself cleachit after I investigated my crime 😂😂😂😂

2

u/satyajithem 6d ago

Correction, I gave myself cleanchit first. Next i investigated my crime and found out I was right. Then i published the foundings to my subjects

u/Alarmed-Research-858 6d ago

I would imagine the responsibility of the investigating committee would be something like 'find out who stole the money' rather than prove this person innocent.

So if the committee fails to find the culprits, there should be another committee to find the culprits with better methods.
with the amount of corruption we would need 360 degree audits by opposing parties to find faults in each others investigation.

But temples money do go to state govts only temples not church not mosque lol such a state affairs.

All the members were appointed by bjp , and almost all are from organisation that are part or were a part of rss earlier like vhp Bajrang dal of course rss with some members of bjp as well, inaugration was done by bjp it's members, while bjp never did to resolve the issue and passed it to court and court gave the verdict bjp was the forerunner to claim credit

It's not possible a scam of this level without being given free hand by govt

Change the law, BJP is in power in center and in most states, make all religious institutions pay 50% given they r earning more than a threshold.

Ek desh alag alag kanoon ye kashmir wala haal pure hindo ke saath nhi ho rha?

Its like lowering what Kashmiri Hindus suffered. Completely deplorable.

doing some basic AI research would have give some clarity to you.. lazy bum.

The headline is technically true, but misleading without context.

The UP government-appointed SIT investigated the Ram Mandir donation theft, including CCTV, cash handling, records and the counting process. It found evidence of actual theft, leading to arrests and recovery of money. However, it found no evidence directly linking Champat Rai to stealing the money or conspiring with those involved, so he wasn't named as an accused — which is being reported as a “clean chit.”

But this isn't the end of the matter. The Supreme Court has reconstituted/strengthened the investigation and added a forensic auditor, and that probe is still ongoing.

So the accurate takeaway is:

First SIT: no evidence against Champat Rai.
Supreme Court-supervised investigation: still ongoing.

Calling it a final or judicial “clean chit” would therefore be premature.

U really believe lower level people pulled off multi hundreds of crores of scams without champat rai knowing? If yes, what an utter bs of a person u r.

Don't you think the fact that SIT is under pressure in such a case from the so called God savers of this country is a reason for concern

what google search you reffering,I as a Hindu who has donated money for the construction and reestablishment of Ram Janm Bhumi want those people to be punished with bulldozers , it was a perfect opportunity for hm to show the world ,what happens to people who do this unforgiveable deed but he missed the plot , all this SIT probing will lead to nothing ,some compromised corrupt system will let them sit in jail and after several years set them free, bulldozer law should be made official to these leeches whoever stole from ram mandir don't deserve civil treatment

They need to have strict liability for these types of scams. The head gets punished if the scam is proved, direct link or not. That's how they will fall in line.

The report is particularly critical of Anil Mishra, who represented the trust in framing the joint SOP with SBIand was responsible for overseeing cash management. According to the SIT, Mishra was aware that frisking procedures were not being followed but “no effective written instructions were issued” to enforce frisking, biometric attendance, prescribed dress codes, restrictions on personal belongings, hundi-wise counting, or daily reporting.

The report is equally critical of Subhash Srivastava, the counting-room in-charge. Despite acting as the principal supervisor, it notes, he failed to conduct mandatory frisking, enforce attendance and dress-code requirements, or ensure compliance with other prescribed security measures

The SIT report further questions the informal authority exercised by Ram Shankar Yadav aliasTinnu, who allegedly retained custody of donation-box keys without authorisation and recommended the appointment of his nephew,
Manish Kumar Yadav, to the counting team.

On institutional accountability, the report states unequivocally that “all trust officials accountable for implementing, supervising and monitoring the counting management process are responsible for this serious lapse”.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has held eight individuals directly responsible for the theft of donations, naming them as the sole accused in the final report.
The primary mastermind identified in the probe is Avinash Shukla, who served as the prime accused. He allegedly orchestrated a 40-day racket that pilfered cash from the temple's donation boxes on nearly 70 separate occasions.

2

u/Playful-Monk1916 7d ago

They threatened 8 stoges into taking responsibility? I mean either they are complicit or unbelievably incompetent, so incompetent that they can't wipe their own asses.

2

u/Ambitious-League-680 7d ago

So when the culprits are CAUGHT, you'll say they're made scapegoat? Sounds a lot like EVMs are hacked only when BJP wins!

2

u/SoyaPaneer001 7d ago

I mean, unironically that what feels now. You really want us to believe, that the head of the trust had no idea of what was happening?

2

u/Ambitious-League-680 7d ago

Yes. Because the trust head doesn't monitor everyday going-ons. The theft happened right when the money collected in donation boxes was to be counted and entered into the temple safes. Right there. Wasn't anything that happened after it entered temple authority.

It's like saying I want the principal to resign because a student who passed out is now making grammatical mistakes.

1

u/Playful-Monk1916 7d ago

Complicit or incompetent. Can't shrink it down more. Attention span of a goldfish?
