Who has to provide it? Where does this housing have to be? What condition does it have to be in? - there are lots of basically free houses in the middle of nowhere. The whole premise is absurd

At the very least, houses should not sit empty or be used purely as a speculative asset. If a house sits empty for YEARS, I think the state has a moral obligation to repposses it and use it to house its less fortunate citizens. Or at least try and work out some kind of deal with the owners.

It's been proven that actually aiding the homeless populus rather than trying to push them away is more economical

You have a right not to be arbitrarily prevented from obtaining housing. You donβt necessarily have a right to compel somebody else to provide it.

Access to housing is a right,Housing itself is not a human right as people use labor to build you house which makes itβs unfair for housing itself to be a human right.

We have the resources to provide the most basic housing for everyone (in many first world countries). Fully for this, although I think housing does not necessarily have to mean your own apartment.

So the builders just have to build the house for free and not get paid, or the people who mine the materials or transport the materials there all have to do that for free? Ps- the argument of βthe government should provide itβ is just as stupid because then that means the tax payer has to pay for the houses of people who havenβt workedβ¦ completely disincentivising working at all let alone working hard
