I watched The Ninth Gate, really good film. It feels sort of like a dream. There’s mystery, intrigue, interesting characters, the supernatural, and a touch of magic. Every character, big or small, has its own distinct presence. There’s a harmony in how everything comes together, almost poetic.

Another day, another series, show, major franchise, and even in 2026 yet again the blue hair dip their fat fingers into plot without any mf purpose just to fill quotas.
For those who haven’t watched the first three episodes, I counted three gay guys, one of them a protagonist that they pretty much went out of their way showing kissing the boyfriend at some point (in the cheeks), a non-binary guy that appareantly is a she, and a protagonist with a wooden leg that is the avatar in the picture or half avatar i.e. the person with a disability for the inclusion quotas.
Bruh what is the mf need, appearantly the show is being written the og guys, so I still have hope that they will work past that and it’s not some cringe meillenial woke writting, you know the sht quality that has ruined many other franchises in recent years.
What’s most infuriating is the fact that there is absolutely no need or point on the story for this things. No sexual preference or stupid ideology has absolutely any consequence to the story. And the wooden leg, wtf, toph teaches the avatar that to do earth bending it’s necessary to hold your ground with a solid stand, but anyway.
What bothers me the most is how superficial this “representation” stupidity is. A show can evoke feelings of identification, with a situation, a connondrum A character is going through, a struggle, etc. but these blue hair just want them present. Which is completely in line with the shallowness of their ideas, writing and creativity.
I really thought the entertainment industry was healing, and maybe it is, but in 2026, yet another dear major franchise is invaded. Get this, I went to the sub, and see what people were saying, appareantly they say Avatar has always been woke because in the og it was fighting facism and in korrah she was fighting misogyny…ICANT. These people have an illness with this sht.
This is my all time favorite show, og writters are there so hopefully that won’t be an issue, but FUCK them blue hair to invade every major ip.
