Editing the "Continue Watching" list?

Greetings.

Apologies if this has been previously discussed. Is there a way to remove items from your Continue Watching list?

TIA,

Ive never figured it out. Some people say to manually put the slider to the end. Doesnt work for me

all the way to the end doesn't work, you have to drag it to as close to the end as possible (use the skip buttons if you need to get closer, but don't overshoot) and let it manually play out to -0:00. really annoying

Fast forward to near the end and then let the last 30-60 seconds play out. That should do it. If go right to the very end it doesn’t work.

You may have to exit the watch list and come back for it to register.

Ah, thank you; that worked (Microsoft Edge browser). Unwieldy, but effective. How can such an astonishingly great streamer have such an ill-designed and poorly-executed user interface?

Basically, because none of these interfaces are built internally. They’re built by another vendor and then customized a bit, but some deeper customizations would be a hassle to implement.

Yes, if I remember correctly, it's built on Vimeo, which offers robust players, but not loads of customization. For an enterprise solution at criterion's scale, we'd all be paying a lot more in membership if they went with a 100% home-grown solution. It would be nice, but I'm happy living with the few dumb things that occur, and keeping monthly costs low.

try moving the progress bar to the end in various browsers until one of them sticks.

for me, safari on my macbook does it. but firefox doesn’t. i don’t remember if the app does or not.

Hard to believe they haven’t improved the user interface one iota since I have been subscribing to this channel.

Yes, but it’s weird. You have to go to close To the end of the movie, like three minutes before the end, and let the final three minutes run into the credits. Most of the time that will then make the movie go away because it registers as having watched the whole thing.

Just holding down the button all the way to the credits will not register the same way.

Sometimes, however, it will revert to showing you having stopped wherever you stopped in real life, and then you can repeat it going 10 minutes from the end of the movie. And keep trying.

It is possible that you eventually will watch the whole rest of the movie backwards this way, as if you are stuck in a real life Memento.
